I'm glad that the accent was intentional. The first time I heard it I thought that it was uh appalling. However I'm looking forward to hear her speak in a "full" English accent. It should be interesting.

Are you guys going to watch the preview again tomorrow? gwene mentioned that it was hard to view/hear because she and friends were sitting at the back.

I know that they'd like to distinguish Helen from Sam but truth is I really like her as a blonde...! :)

I think we'll get to hear the full accent in thie currently filmed stuff, the first 2 hours... I do hope they expand on where she's lived. I wished I could remember where they mentioned but since it was casual I suppose it's hard to know whether they're throwing names around or it will be canon. I'm having ideas about fic where she met the last emperor of China - reckon some international "monster" legends invstigated for "abnormals" would be cool to see

No, technologically repressed being that I am, I still haven't been able to see it, so some of this is zooming right over my head. Still, I like the sound of the fan-focus and the equality on set.

Sad to hear how, even in the fifth row, you had problems hearing and seeing things. You should complain so they might do a better job of it next time.

I don't think complaining will do much good with these organisers. The stewards were doing their best (though I heard some were a bit rude) but it wasn't well planned in many requests - they really need a bigger/better venue overall. Damian seemed quite sad about the cockup with the showing, poor guy.
