The way you wrote this, it's interesting. It seems a lot longer than it actually is. There's so much packed into it. ♥

Nicely done. I like how you connect her to Sleeping Beauty and compare her size to a child's when Sam lifts her up. Good job with the imagery here.

I love the imagery in that first paragraph. The way you're able to convey the beauty with the terror underneath it. Then Sam, this is such a good insight into his motivations. It really rings true.

You are too kind. I am really trying to use mini-nanowrimo this year to write and post even if it's just snippets. I know the only way I'll learn more is by writing, and posting, not by sitting around brooding about writing. /ramble
