ROFL THIS POST. *____________* A+ on the cobb and friends meta, not to mention writing. it's so awesome to know that there are other people interested in getting better at writing through fanfiction, because sometimes you come across writers you can tell aren't even trying and it's just depressing.

AND! as someone who got a recent name change (or, okay, not so recent, it's been like, over a year, almost a year and a half now, i think, but it still FEELS recent, how weird is that) I SAY GO FOR IT. you probably know yourself better now than you did when you first chose it. :D

also! i totally agree about twilight. only i actually really love jacob/bella kind of a lot, and even then i could barely get through new moon, never mind the rest of the books. i ended up skimming it for all the jacob bits and then had to put the book down in disgust at the end. idek. JACOB IS REALLY PURTY, THOUGH.

I've discovered recently that I REALLY FUCKING LOVE COBB. It's not a secret, but writing it out felt like a revelation :D (and I want to slap all Cobb haterz, omg)

I really do try with my fanfiction to get better. I think every story I write is better than the last one (hopefully). I look back on stuff I wrote only a year ago and cringe... I just hope I can be like one of the writers I admire eventually.

I had no idea you had a name change, lol. I just have to find a name I like that hasn't been taken yet... always a difficult task. I'm thinking something inception related... or maybe not.

Secret? the only reason I was really able to even read past Twilight is because I loved Jacob's character and wanted to see what would happen with him. Then eventually Smeyer ruined his character as well. /sigh

BAHAHA I AM PRETTY SURE WE HAVE HAD THIS DISCUSSION, NO? the only people that make me kind of go o.O are the ones who thinkk arthur and cobb have a father-son relationship (SERIOUSLY WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT). yeeeeeeeeah, no.

and that's what writing should be all about, so yay! :D

considering how long it's been since my name change, you wouldn't! rofl. it's all very strange. the only downside to picking something inception (or any fandom, really) related would be the fact that you can't get rid of it (without spending money!) if you ever decide you're not a fan of it anymore.

rofl, the only twilight i'm ever going to read is fanfiction. \o/ because audreyii_fic makes my life. :D
