"Gaffawing away on the steamship of hillarity."

Borrowed the Incredibles DVD today from a friend of a friend who managed to get an advanced copy... Been watching all the extras for the past THREE hours and it is hands-down the best DVD set I've ever seen! OMG, I am freaking out and laughing hysterically at all the bonus stuff, and I'm depressed at the same time that I can't share this with ( Read more... )

Grimacing away on the row boat of envy theflhurricane March 10 2005, 02:44:26 UTC
I'm just not going to say anything since I've already thoroughly expressed my feelings on your previous post. I just hope your happy I look like a frog (green with envy in case that went over your head). Oh well my day shall come - in 5 days, 2 hours, 17 minutes, and 49 seconds to be exact. Laugh at Jack-Jack for me and send Glory Days Elastigirl my love. I am glad it's more on "Parr" with us though (wow I've seriously over used that).

Have fun with your mallard - and your Glory Days Bob.

Aw, a duck..... Don't let Homer near ol' Donald, or he might treat him like his other "babies."

(On an unrelated note, the Simpsons are airing the ep where Homer becomes a superhero. Mmmm, pie....)

Dude, you are gonna be soooooo sleep hungover tomorrow! You are a brave, brave girl!

They're roommates, but they're not ROOMMATES, y'know? missnickers March 10 2005, 17:17:35 UTC
The duck is named Drake Mallard. And I took some pics of him, so you can see! I think Homer wanted to play with him because he looked exactly like that stuffed duck Homer had. Remember that? His "baby"? He loves that stuffed duck. Literally. ;)

I wonder if storm powers are any help in taking care of the kids???

I still think your "team" comment was hillarious.... missnickers March 10 2005, 22:12:12 UTC
I doubt the storm powers help much.... It said in his file that he's pretty useless on a clear day. Poor TH. But he does offer some eye candy (though not as much as GD mind you). I wonder if Scott is the secret identity of another super?? I think maybe Scott is either a) Hypershock (the dude with the drinking problem) or b) Downburst (his new obsession is apparently turning things into bicycles and kids love bicycles....). Plus I think Thunderhead and Downburst would get along famously; keep that in mind when you listen to their interviews.

I REALLY REALLY want to see what an NSA picnic would be like.... thinking of writing a short, humourus fic of what a picnic would be like now that the supers are back in action and the NSA is no longer defunct. Wanna help brainstorm ideas?? ;)

Wow, Nicole, you are so cool. I mean really, I wish I was just like you. You are my hero, and when I get my money from that movie deal, I am going to buy you a nice outfit.

I have no idea what you are talking about... but there is no shame in admitting that I am your hero. You're only human.

Have you heard about this movie called The Pretty Goods? It's kind of like a low budget version of The Incredibles. Here are the main characters:

Bob One Stroke Under (aka Mr. Pretty Good): Is strong enough to lift heavy boxes.

Helen One Stroke Under (aka Chewing Gum Girl): Is capable of stretching her limbs out in front of her.

Magenta One Stroke Under: Is capable of becoming inconspicuous by dressing in camouflage and hiding in vegetation, and can also generate force fields of static electicity by shuffling her feet across a thick carpet.

Runyun One Stroke Under (aka Run): Is capable of running very fast, can outrun at least half the kids in his class.

Mack-Mack One Stroke Under: Has a variety of different abilities, including creating weapons of grossness in his stomach and spitting them up on people, generating extreme levels of sound by crying and screaming, and attacking enemies by flinging unwanted food at them from his high chair.
