Chevelle Tonight and Women Take Over Football.

Nov 06, 2007 15:45

So, Chevelle's tonight and I'm stoked. But more onto something amusing ...

So, I always joke around with Shaun and Ben about the girls being the men in the relationship because we sit down every Sunday and ferociously root for our respective teams while football bores the boys and they go and do stuff like ... paint their toenails. Anyway. It's just ( Read more... )

school, football

i love that i can keep up with the conversations at work when the guys start talking football...:D

...believe me, i was glued to that game and so SO SO SO disappointed with the outcome....just because i dislike the patriots that much!! did you see they accused us of CHEATING?!?!?
OMFG!!!!
hello pot, kettled called.....YOURE BLACK
...of course we were cleared of it - they accused us of piping in crowd noise, which turned out to be some fault of the CBS broadcast....i cant remember the technicalities of it all, all i know is it amuses me to no end that THEY accused US of cheating...

ah well - it was only a regular season game - and...if harrison had played the score wouldve been different.

we wont talk about the cowboys...we dont have that in common....:)

if you want to get fired up and angry, go take a look at the pats lj community...i try to refrain from going there because it gets me all kinds of angry!!
hehe

... You've GOT to be kidding. THEY accused US of cheating??? I totally didn't hear about that and if I had when I was still in my emotionally fragile state, I would've gone all postal on Brady's ass. Agreed ... I still maintain that it was so damn close that if Harrison had played, the Colts would be the winners ... and they would do it with CLASS, damnit.

It's funny, I was watching the Cowboys vs. the Eagles and the Cowboys were stomping on the Eagles ... so, they adjusted their play accordingly, no need to make big plays and try for first downs. And the announcer was like, "If this was the Patriots playing the Eagles, they'd be running up the score right about now." So true!

And ... oh, Lord ... what kind of things do they say? I don't want to go there and then have to, like, kill small children. :-/

I absolutely HATED football.

Until I lived in Pittsburgh for a number of years. Now my heart bleeds black and gold. My cousin and I actually had a little.. spat.. because he lives in Maryland and is a fan of all things Baltimore and.. well.. the Steelers kinda massacred the Ravens this past Monday.

I wish bad things for Mr. Brady.

Hey, do you think maybe if we get enough people to all sit down and wish for bad things for Brady that ... bad things will happen to him?

I'm down.

Let's do it!

May the Patriots lose to the Dolphins.

haha now Mal, let's be realistic here. The Dolphins are 0-8. It would be pretty funny, though, if they lost to them. That's like Hulk Hogan being taken down by Steve Urkel.

Instead, let's hope for something to tear in his knee, rendering him useless for the rest of the season.

But Aly! DON'T YOU SEE THAT'S THE GENIOUS IN IT???? If the Pats were to get knocked down by the Dolphins it would be the ultimate blow to their team ego! Okay, okay ... I know the chances of that rival my chances of ever owning my own island, but it's still gets me tingly to think about.

However ... I'd totally settle for an injury. And then I'd get the video of it and play it on a loop on my tv. Glorious.
