Chevelle Tonight and Women Take Over Football.

So, Chevelle's tonight and I'm stoked. But more onto something amusing ...

So, I always joke around with Shaun and Ben about the girls being the men in the relationship because we sit down every Sunday and ferociously root for our respective teams while football bores the boys and they go and do stuff like ... paint their toenails. Anyway. It's just funny, because it seems like roles are a tad bit reversed.

Anyway, in class today our math teacher (who is adorable beyond belief, I'll have to remember to put some of her comedic gold down in here) was talking about how she sung the pythagorean theorem song to the tune of the Notre Dame fight song but how she didn't want to do it now because they'd been having a bad week ... and then some chick mentioned how it wasn't a good week for football cause the Eagles lost to the Cowboys and that wasn't okay (which ... I seriously almost said "Have you seen how McNabb's been playing? It wasn't gonna happen any other way, sweetie. Bow down to the greatness that is Romo.") and from this sparked an entire conversation about football ...

Completely created and dominated by the females in the class.

It was amazing. Nary a male voice spoke out and quite a few females had more than a few choice words, including Summer who agonized over the Colts' loss. Which ... I feel ya, sister. I was too much of a wuss to speak up, but I should've. *sigh* It was amazing.

It's just so weird ... it's like football is turning into a women's sport or something. Just not on LJ. Side note, I love you for sharing my pain, Tiggy! It warms the heart and calms some of my bitterness over the loss. :-)

school, football
