Dear Albuquerque,

When I go driving I stay in my lane
But getting cut off makes me insane
I open the glove box
Reach inside
I‘m gonna wreck this fucker‘s ride ...

Guess I Got A Bad Habit )

OH! OH! I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN. Obviously you and I are soulmates and were both, at one point, completely useless when it came to the great invention, the wheel. I finally got my license when I was 19 and of course I had been terrified of everyone else's erratic, aggressive driving habits. I would seriously yell at others and then hold a grudge against them for driving recklessly. And now... like, it's easier for me to swerve violently into the adjacent lane rather than brake to allow the person in front of me to make a righthand turn without toppling over their vehicle.

In all fairness though, New Mexico is the worst place to drive! The road rage here is pretty terrible, but in New Mexico (particularly in Las Cruces and the surrounding areas, from my experience) everyone goes, like, 30 miles under the speed limit. Seriously. Never have I been on a freeway going 45 before 5pm on a weekday. It's not even that they cut you off, it's like they just confusedly drift into your lane, like they're driving in some dreamy haze, and a suddenly ( ... )

Pssf, like that was ever under question.

And ... haha. I do the aggressive swearing, too. Like how DARE they try and make a turn while I'm behind them??? But I had totally forgotten about that ... these people are like the ONLY PEOPLE IN THE WORLD who go UNDER the freaking speed limit! What the hell?! Why?! That's probably what pisses me off the most, though the fun little tug of war with fast, then slow is pretty damn obnoxious as well. Oh, but God forbid I try and get in front of their slow ass, cause that just lights a fire under them and all of a sudden they are the kings of speed.

Ugh. I'm getting annoyed just thinking about it.

And by "swearing" I meant "swerving". I got into such a tizzy typing this up that I threw spelling and grammar out the window ... see what they do to me??
