XD "You rock hard" made my night. I'm glad she liked them! Miku's lyrics are so hilarious sometimes~ Next I want to translate pusshin purin...a song about pudding, c'mon. XDD
My friend and I were talking about how she wants to be a singer, and I told her she had to have some sort of variety, spontanaity that fits her as a person. That the best response she'll ever get is being true to herself, as random as that may be. She can't forgo that if she wants to write, arrange, compose, and sing music. I told her about the band, and used those lyrics as an example of both ingenuity and hope. We are both Christians and I told her how, while AnCafe may or may not be Christian, they can under and convey the need we all have to be strong, to have hope, and so on. That's a powerful tool. Christianity gets used as a wet nurse a lot in the music stream in America. It gets reduced to a "sound" and a "look", and nothing should fall under that category. AnCafe are both oshare and visual (but not hardcore about it) all at once. They have serious, loving, silly, and powerful songs all on one album that doesn't feel out of place.
Wow, thanks for translating this! I loved reading how Miku says he's "that type". I wonder if he really is...like if he has an ego or something. I'm sure he knows he's adorable. XDDD
XD You're welcome! I know~ How can anyone *not* know he's adorable? I guess it's got to go to his head, having thousands of fans scream how wonderful he is every night. But at least he can admit he's got a bit of an ego. XDD
^^ Thank you~ Yes, that's why I liked translating this so much! Each song has a (rather strange sometimes) backstory. It's so cool to hear their comments on them. ^^
