Is the relief about race? The two states hit the hardest (LA, MS) have some of the poorest people in our nation, most being Black. Why is it taking a week and some change to send some relief and/or get those people out of there? Why wasn't there a plan to get the citizens of the coastal towns out of harms way, before the storm hit? It's like

I read this in our paper today, you might find it interesting and along your lines of thinking...I hadn't even heard any of these insinuations about race/sexuality/politics, but the whole situation regardless is just horrible and unbelievable and unreal to me. I did see one article where someone was pissed about sending all our soldiers to another country but we can't get any help around here. I definitely agreed with that.
