Just my thoughts
Is the relief about race? The two states hit the hardest (LA, MS) have some of the poorest people in our nation, most being Black. Why is it taking a week and some change to send some relief and/or get those people out of there? Why wasn't there a plan to get the citizens of the coastal towns out of harms way, before the storm hit? It's like fucking Haiti down there, did the feds really think those residents had the means to leave?
When people say stuff like...
I think what disgusts me the most is that some of these people aren't looting food or anything to survive...they're looting jewelry, dvd players, etc. That's pathetic. To be honest, I think the National Guard should start shooting some of these ones that have turned into lawless savages.

Anarchy is breaking out, and I think people are using it as their excuse not to care. But guess what, those people were told to go somewhere to be picked up, they waited three (I guess today would make it four) days and they're still fucking waiting. 10,000 in hot weather, surrounded by dead and dying bodies with no sign of hope.. WTF would you do? Hold hands and sing some Negro spirituals?
