I'm learning that, yeah. I'm completely flummoxed to be without a car. What if I need to GO somewhere? Or DO something? So far, I actually haven't had to, but it's like an ever present threat. ::sighs:: I haven't gotten a bid from the body shop either, so THAT is still an unknown quantity. Ugh.
Pretty extensive, actually. There are several bus stops and a lightrail that runs during the work commute. But I genuinely have no idea how to make use of it. Thankfully, within walking distance of my place is a drug store, so I have a lot of miscellaneous items covered that way. I also, thankfully, have some very good friends who have offered to help me out if I need anything. But not being able to pick up and say, "I'm going to a coffee shop!" is something I haven't dealt with in five or six years.
The accident definitely sucks but spinning is still definitely awesome. And makes me feel like a poor, poor, poor, extremely poor man's version of Stephane Lambiel. :)

I think that's one of the reasons I didn't cry. I mean, the money aspect sucks, but I'm so, so glad I didn't hit anyone, or get hurt worse.
