At least you weren't in an accident with someone else? And at least you're mostly whole, apart from the soreness. POSITIVE THINKING!

How much damage was there to the car? Did the garage place get back to you? I saw your tweet last night.

I definitely know it could be worse so I'm still grateful, despite it all.

But I still don't know what's going on with my car (UGH). I napped through the time I was going to call them and ask after the quote, so basically I think I'll find out Monday? Barf. I'm still trying to understand that my car is somewhere, not able to be driven. WHY IS IT NOT IN THE PARKING LOT?

Augh, just the IDEA of being in a car accident makes me anxious, so I can't imagine BEING in one, even if you came out of it in one piece. And having to pay for it on top of that. :\ I'm glad you are okay though.

Yeah, I have to admit I'm getting more and more nervous and upset about the monetary issue, but I know, quite intimately, how bad car accidents can truly be so all in all I was very lucky.

Accidents are hands down the worst. I've been in two major ones (one I was a passenger in; one I caused) and in one year, four people backed into my bumper. And they stay with you and they're expensive and stupid. BLEEECH. Which is all to say: it won't get better fast, but at least only you were involved in this situation, no one else. It makes it incredibly moar easy this way. UGHHH I JUST WANT TO HUG YOU.

Some body shops don't work with a full house or anyone at all over the weekend, which is probably why they haven't called. You can def get them on Monday.

Skating was strongly ftw. I went again today in order to prove it was a fluke of being tired. I didn't get any better at the spin, but I didn't fall again either. So definite win.
