Ugh. I get Sony Vegas installed, and I think I might finish up one of my WIPs... Guess not. Sony Vegas won't show the video. It just says "media offline", no matter what I do. So, now I have a new computer, that runs all the big programs without any speed issues, and I STILL can't work on my editing. That's just awesome. I have tons of SPN vids I ( Read more... )

I tried to use Vegas Video, because I wanted to try to make a vid. It would never open any files.

I've been rewatching the X-Files too, on BBC America. My husband has never seen most of them so I've been recording them on the DVR and we'll watch several in a row on nights when there's nothing else on.

Re: Sony - I feel your pain. I'm currently in the process of burning everything I own to make space to install a new editing software (cuz mine is shit) and I feel like once I do, it will blow up in my face. Also, check your codecs. It's always a frakking codec.

And I totally remember 10th Kingdom! That thing blew my mind when I was younger. :P

Next week's ep? I'm in your boat with the Cas-missing but I'm looking forward to it for the amount of sheer CRACK it will encapsulate. Have you seen the stills at spnparty? But you know what really bugs me too about all of this? I get that they were giving MC a break to be with his kid and whatnot but more than the fact that he's *not* in any of the eps so far, the stills for next week's ep are the first promo ANYTHING that I've seen him in. Like, throw us a freakin' bone here!

As for XF, wait till you rewatch the movie. The ending of it is just so "OH COME ON!!" for poor Mulder wanting Scully to see undeniable proof :P

I actually hadn't thought of that... I haven't installed my big codec pack yet, mostly because so far, I haven't run into anything I can't already play in windows media... but I'll SV another shot once I get that done ( ... )

What!? Seriously? I've been living in a Sera-forgiving, deluded bubble all season? What would she gain Sam-wise by getting rid of Cas? Does Sam/Cas not have a following? Cuz I'm pretty sure it does. Frakking BWs of the world. Why do they have to ruin it for the rest of us?

Yeah, but eventually that tactic's gonna run short. The whole point of doing that is that Cas DOES have a huge following and if they keep getting denied, there's gonna be frakking mutiny.

No no, not that one. The first movie, the one that goes between seasons 4 & 5 I think, or 5 & 6. I think it was called "X Files: Fight the Future"?

I didn't say that's what she was doing. I just said a friend was joking about it, and it reminded me of BW.... Who I'm never going to forgive for trying to pretend my fave character didn't exist, and God, why do I have to love the ones that aren't part of the "original line-up" that never get the love the rest do... It's like a pattern for me ( ... )

It doesn't matter; my sister chatters about it over msn while she watches a livestream of it... I hate the streams, so I don't bother

soon as a link is up on SPNP I'll download it, and then probably have my reaction post up

Don't know if it will be as enthusiastic as yours, though XD My sister told me some things about the end that irked me.
