Junie was doing SO well and then last night about 9:30 things tanked again. She vomited but it looked like mostly hairball so while I was disappointed, I wasn't too worried...yet. Thank you *hugs* I think once we can get her on a regular course of steroids, she'll improve greatly. I'm going to ask if they can do a steroid shot on Friday to give her a head start and then I'll arrange to get the rest of the meds compounded so I can just put them on a spot on her ears so it's less stress for the both of us.

Very much appreciated. She at least still has an appetite so there's that. Hopefully on Friday the wrangling goes well and we can get started on some meds to actually get her stable and on the way to fattening her up again.

That's fantastic that you're making your own "milks"! Look at this article from this week up here... Imagine living a good, clean life...only to be taken out by what is supposed to be the healthy alternative. :(

I hopefully soon will be getting the transdermal anti-puke meds, though they won't arrive until after Friday's vet appointment. It'll be good to have them on hand, though.
Listeria seems to be EVERYWHERE lately. It's scary. Around here the big ones have been in lunchmeat, ice cream and spinach.
