Ant was up in T-Dot a few weeks ago, and I asked him if he'd seen you or not.
I'm on vacation right now in NYC; I've been here a week and am going back home on Sunday night. Hopefully not for long, though. I've decided that I'm going to try to move up here.

Lately I have just been working a neccesary but not very interesting jobb job, living in East Atlnat Villiage with Edo, Yuriko, and now,the newst addition to our hut, theone like Katie Imac. but this keyboard is preventing me from telling you the rest of my biz cause it sucks...more layter

QUOTE: "My dad is quitting his job as a commercial real estate agent and moving down to Nicaragua to become a full-time missionary. How fucked up is that? Good for him, but WTF? There's a lot of poor ppl downtown Toronto. "
The difference is, the poor people downtown in Toronto have the freedom and opportunity to change their situation. The people in Nicaragua do not.
Everytime I hear this arugment that we should help the poor people in America instead ot the poor people in 3rd world countries I think of Dave Thomas, founder of Wendy's, who was an orphan with little education who was washing dishes at 14 years old, or the one time CEO of Coca-Cola who started off working in the mail room and worked his way up to the very top.
In America, everyone has opportunity, and everyone has choices. In Nicaragua, people don't have nearly the same level of choice.
Oh, and missionaries also drive home that whole Christianity thing - more power for the church. ;)
