Hi all. So today I missed my first ever day of uni because I woke up with a splitting headache and thus am sick like the rest of my family right now LOL (save my dad who escaped the germs due to being in Morwell all week). I'm not gonna comment on the tv shows because I'm a few eppys ahead and I don't want to accidentally spoil lol.

Heh, that's okay, I don't actually mind reading spoilers. I don't see much point in trying to remain spoiler free when Aussie networks are almost always behind! (Though I am avoiding Lost spoilers if I can).

I sorta get what they are doing with Ted and Robin. I mean, Ted LOVED her and they only broke up because they didn't see a future, not because of a 'real' reason (if that makes sense). Like, they could have kept dating and deluded themselves. So BOTH have to move on (esp. since they are trying to be long-term friends and see each other every day). There are a lot of feelings still there and NOT having a relapse would FEEL better to me as a Barney/Robin and Ted/Mother shipper but would SEEM fake as someone who still has lingering feelings for exes.

I definately get what you're saying! It probably is realistic that Ted and Robin relapse - they didn't break up because they wanted to, and they were into each other for a such a long time before they got together. I think they kind of work as each other's safety nets (which came up in Ted's wedding ep) even if they do want different things. And I've always thought HIMYM has written them really strongly, because we believed in them as a couple for a whole season even though we know she's not the mother. To be honest I've always figured they'd eventually get together again for a while, but hopefully they break up for good eventually so the plot moves on!
