1. Let's get right into it - my university timetables came out today. Now that I know when my classes are on I can announce that I'm doing drama, environmental studies and two units in literature (I'm a lit/drama double major). I didn't really want to do environmental studies but it was all that fit in my timetable, so oh well.
2. I defaulted from yuletideRead more... )

1. I hope you enjoy your lit classes. Mine were always one of my favourites. I loved reading new things I would never read myself.

2. I'm still stuck on Yuletide and hopefully I will finish and post before the deadline. *fingers crossed* I've been really bad this year. Last year I was so on top of things. *sigh*

3. I heard about that! It's shocking! I will never be able to watch Uptown Girls the same way again and I really liked that movie in a guilty pleasure way. I feel for her family.

6. Glad you are feeling better/more festive!! *hugs*

1. I think I will! I'm doing American Literature and Shakespeare and the Renaissance - I was really hoping to do Women in Literature but it didn't fit into my timetable :(

2. Good luck with your story! I am HOPING I will be able to write a few things for Yuletide Madness, cause I know from experience how much it sucks to write a Yuletide story for someone who defaulted - like you did all this work for someone who couldn't be bothered. (I'm...not exactly sure I like this whole AO3 changeover either. I got an invite to it even though I defaulted, but it sounds crazily complicated where the old system/site was so simple).

6. *hugs back*

hey char!
*a double major? O_O at least you'll enjoy it, so good luck for the new subjects. i knew a few people who did environmental studies this year and they say it wasnt so bad :) ( i cant beleive we havent run into each other in that small campus yet ...speaking of which its getting another little side building HOW EXCITING lol)
*Brittany Murphy: i loved her in Sin city. Cardiac arrest and found in the shower at 32 by your own mum ... its just really really sad :(
*oh the balegate movie? i've been meaning to watch that for senor bale and worthington (seriously where did this guy pop out of? saw avatar on friday and my mind is blown, srsly visuals were A-MAZING. Guy knows how to pick his roles, or to get picked for the right roles whatever :p)

lastly, have a very merry christmas :)

- Haha yeah, in my course you either pick two majors, or you pick one major and two minors, and since lit and drama are the only two subjects I've done well in so far I chose those. Enviromental is just my elective so it doesn't count for anything much but hopefully I'll like it.
- Sin City!
- BALEGATE! Sam Worthington is of course Australian and apparently the biggest bogan in the history of forever, so he's fortunate he's also a good actor. He's got the whole 'Last Action Hero' thing down pat!

MARRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU TO RINA ♥

1. Ha, I'm not even sure what environmental studies is. It sounds boring :P

2. Dude, no, you'd be a bad person if you just didn't turn in a fic. You defaulted with plenty of time, so your person should be fine. :)

3. I'm still kind of stunned :\ She was so young.

6. I'm glad you're feeling OK ♥ And I'm glad you're going away, even if it's only for a little while. That should be good.

Man I was so shocked about Brittany Murphy, me and my sister loved her. Still don't understand how it even happened.

I don't know if I got a chance to thank you for my beautiful Christmas card. They're starting to be the one thing I look forward to now that we don't celebrate Christmas too much. It actually arrived at my house before I did lol, so it was a nice welcoming present as well!

I think there were some people theorising that an eating disorder was the real culprit? The popular consensus seemed to be that something she had been doing abused her body to the point that she had a heart attack (the popular theories were either an eating disorder or drugs) because usually 30 year olds do not drop dead from heart attacks. It's also entirely possible she always had a heart murmur or an arrhythmia that she just didn't make public and thus this may always have been a risk for her, or she may have lived had she got CPR quickly but didn't get it in time because she was in the shower. etc etc;

I AM GLAD YOU LIKED THE CARD ♥
