1. Let's get right into it - my university timetables came out today. Now that I know when my classes are on I can announce that I'm doing drama, environmental studies and two units in literature (I'm a lit/drama double major). I didn't really want to do environmental studies but it was all that fit in my timetable, so oh well.
2. I defaulted from yuletide. Yes, I am a terrible person, etc etc, except not because I did it prior to the default deadline and thus I can sign up next year with no penalty. With all that's been going on I'm just not in the position to force myself to write anything, and that's what I was doing with my story. So hopefully my person will get a lovely pinch-hit story and I won't feel too bad when I read my story on Christmas. And I'll write some NYR stories anyway!
3. One of you on the anonymous Santa thing said they liked my links to stuff! Yaaaay! So showbiz crap:
+ Brittany Murphy died! From a heart attack. AT 32! Her mom found her passed out in the shower, which is both tragic and scary. Ashton tweeted about it too, since we all remember the masterpiece that was Just Married. I will always remember her for calling Cher a virgin who can't drive. (That was way harsh, Tai). For real though :( RIP She has three movies in post, so we'll be seeing her for a while.
+McG plans to make another Terminator movie, which he revealed via some live commentary thing for the Blu Ray release of Terminator Salvation (DanRad also did one for the HBP Blu Ray). This is cool with me because Terminator Salvation was a really good movie with sexy people.
+Speaking of, a post on what kinds of digital copies come included with Australian Blu Rays, which is handy because I hate when these things are crappy proprietary formats.
4. So Twitter got hacked by the 'Iranian Cyber Army' eh? (Update 4 on there is interesting). If you want to know why, it's pretty complicated, if you want to know how, that's a bit simpler.
5. ZOMG WHO WANTS A PAID ACCOUNT COUPON?! LJ's idea of a holiday promotion this year was to give paid users 10 coupons to hand out to their basic/plus account friends, which allow them to buy a year's paid account for $15 (or $10 if you sign up for automatic renewal). If you want one, please just ask!
6. How am I feeling? Pretty alright lately, thanks if you were wondering! I'm getting slightly more festive now that I'm re-watching the Christmas eps of all my shows and Mum has put up a small tree and lights on the windows (I'll take a pic and put it on tumblr). Everyone's cards have been sent, and after Christmas we're going away for a few days, so I'm happy as a clam about that. How are we all?
