Yup, so updating LJ pretty much didn't happen this month thanks to the NaNo challenge. But that is now over (officially) with a final word count of 32,769 words! Not 50,000, but pretty damn impressive anyway, I feel. Especially considering how tired I was all month. My mom just sent me photos of a bird's nest they found in the carport. There's a little ledge my dad built for birds to nest in years ago (in hopes of deterring them from nesting on the rungs of his stepladder), but it's hardly ever been used.

Welp, I registered for my VERY LAST SEMESTER OF CLASSES. *cue dramatic music* God, I'm so ready to be done. I think everyone is.
I will be taking Magazine Editing (why yes, the course selection pickings were slim, thank you), which I figure I can at least use to apply to industries that aren't dying/dead. The principles of editing remain the same ( Read more... )
