All of a sudden, I get this notice that a lecturer will be coming to observe my teaching...this week!

I haven't done too well in my two lessons today. And last time, I got very bad ratings from both the visiting lecturer and my associate teachers.

Just from your blog, it looks like you have been learning a lot about teaching as you have been doing it. (For instance, that you need a script, not just a plan). You should do well, or at least better than last time.
