So I went for an eye exam, to make sure I have decent glasses for the Japan trip. (Three weeks tomorrow, but who's counting?)

I hope they get it sorted quickly - I know that I would feel stressed waiting under the circumstances. Thank goodness you have your annual appointment on March 12th. (Your optician does know to send the report to the consultant as well as your GP, doesn't he? I'm sure he does but... when you work in the health service you ask these very obvious questions!)

Thank you, wombat! I spoke to a RL friend and she said to take a copy of the letter with me to the specialist.That way, it might just get there.
