To say she had been invited out would have been a gross miscalculation, but one and the same when Kankuro summoned Hinata to meet him at a sushi bar she quickly got dressed into something nice but casual and headed out. She wasn't sure what to expect but was keeping her options open, and she brought extra money just in case he pulled something.

Her faith in this 'date' was rather shaky, but still she got on the bus and headed there all the same. The bus ride itself wasn't long or anything, but there was an old woman who insisted on chatting Hinata's ear off the entire trip. Sighing in relief when she saw the sushi bar, she got off the bus and looked for Kankuro.

Kankuro was still taunting the poor kid in the window when Hinata showed up. He'd been waiting for five minutes before realizing he needed something to do. He wasn't a dressy kind of guy but he'd managed to find something other than a dirty t-shirt in his closet, showing that he could be a looker when he felt like being normal. The cap managed to tone down the jeans and jacket so he didn't feel overdressed. Afterall this wasn't a 'date date', this was him making a second impression on some knock-out he'd managed to scare the shit out of.

In the technical term it was a date, in the literal sense it was just having dinner. He hadn't been entirely bad, and did have some extra cash from his paycheck that he hadn't blown. He wouldn't make her buy his dinner this time.

After watching things for a moment Hinata realized that the guy standing in front of the window taunting some kid was the guy she was meeting, and he hadn't spotted her yet if she wanted to leave. Still, he knew where she lived, and she was quite sure he wouldn't hesitate to come visit. Sigh.

Approaching, she smiled slightly as she waved. "Um, hi. I..Is this the place?" 'And can we perhaps get this over with? She fiddled with the zipper to her jacket, hoping she didn't see anyone she knew in there.

At the sound of her voice he stepped back and turned around while the kid continued to make gruesome faces in the window. Cap in hand Kankuro fiddled with his hair again and greeted her with that devilish smile.

The kid at the window noticed Hinata and regressed to kissy faces up against the glass. With a twitch to his lip, Kankuro plastered his hand to the glass in attempt to cover up the kid's ridiculousness and piss him off in the process.

"I got bored," he stated honestly with a huff.
