Well This has been one of the most busy...traumatic....and EXPENSIVE weeks in some time. After 300 dollars in tests, we found out that my big Tigger,  has Diabetes. This is going to change his life HUGE, and also change mine. He will now have to get 2 shots of insulin a day. In exactly 12 hour intervals. This means that I have to make sure at 7:

Having to give a cat repetitive needle pokings.. that can't be fun.

Hopefully your cat is declawed? I'm sure you don't want to feel his Tiggery wrath.

Thanks Benson, Tigger is not declawed, full nail action! It has been hard, but as long as Jeff or I have his attention with some pets or some chicken, he doesn't really seem to notice. However, I have to learn how to do it myself because Jeff works evenings every 4 weeks.... That is going to be scary.

How is he taking the shots? He may be upset but I'm sure he knows his loving mama & papa are doing it to help him.

Thanks Cathleen, I will be calling you soon. Tigger is not taking his shots so well, even though he knows he has to have it, he loves to give us a hard time about it. He's a little needle shy.
