This is a little interlude/story for Booming Echoes In The Distance, otherwise known as Tink. It's not so much a story, I guess, as a collection of her thoughts and way of thinking about losing a friend, and a failed responsibility.

I have to say, I loved the HBO series of Rome.

I watched the entire second season today (okay, so it's not that much, only 10 episodes), and I am STILL trembling from the last episode of season one.

Holy hot damn. I swear to god, though, Atia from start to finish is my favourite character. I swear.

Here's a pair of interludes for Ascendancy, featuring Jaron Del. ;) Much to his player's shock (and despair?) the pair seem to be having some level of bonding... though whether it's mutual on Menace's side, impossible to know.

So! Third chapter of Ascendancy. Won some rolls, lost some rolls, and enjoyed myself nonetheless. I just have to remember that in the future, I need to issue a disclaimer before swamping him with walls of text and go with 45-second intervals or so. :) Ultimately, I had fun, and I'm pretty sure our conquering hero did too. :)
