Oh, this was wonderful! Beautifully dark and angsty and twisted. I'm adding this to my memories, and I'm pimping this out on my journal. Thank you for sharing! ♥

Wonderfully written :)

This is fantastic. I love AUs, I love a well-written look at using time travel, and I love interesting looks at dark!Hiro. This fic had all of them. :)

I've seen other fics with a similar premise, but I love what you did with it. (And not just because it's gen, LOL.) It's so wonderfully written, and it's both awesome and tragic to see Hiro so obsessed with "saving the future" that he's caught in an endless cycle. The last two lines are absolutely chilling.

Dude, you made cute, fluffy Hiro about to shoot a pregnant chick. That is fucking awesome in a dark, twisted way. The fic is dark and twisty as a whole with the screwed future no matter what. Part of me feels bad that I get so much enjoyment out of these character's misery. But who doesn't love good angst every now and then?

There's something nice about living vicariously through others' misery, isn't there? And we both know how much I love to abuse my favourite characters.

Oh, dude! You went to the bad place via icon form!

Yes, yes. There is. I do find it somewhat weird though how we can love these characters but still make them go through hell. I guess it's while fluff can be nice and all, it's the angst where a lot of the really good and interesting storytelling comes from.

Heh, I went to the bad place while at the same time killing my Photoshop. I've tried to open it at least six times since finishing the icon and it crashes every single time. :D (The icon keywords are 'Heroes: one reservation in hell'.)

Yeah, and I guess it's like how pretty much every movie ever has some kind of tragedy or conflict in it, even if it's a silly one. I don't think we humans are built to appreciate others' happiness. Especially guys, I love emotionally abusing guys in fiction.
