Saturday
The day flew by today. It was a good day.
After Kasey's nap, we packed up and went to Farrel McWhirter Park in Redmond.*
Kasey had a great time. He liked the ducks and especially the chickens. We also saw bunnies and pigs. He wasn't too sure what to make of the goat or pony. We had a makeshift picnic with the snacks I had packed a long. It was very pleasant.
And during our picnic, Kasey said his first 'full' word...

Yay!!!!! Daddy hasn't heard it yet. I'll either wait for the right time, or just let Kasey spring it on him. ;-)
Kasey's vocabulary to date (mostly in order):
1) Kee - This was his first ever sound. He stopped doing it later on
2) Buh - Book. Then it meant "whatever I want right now", but now it seems to be Book again
3) Mmmm - Meaning food, or feed me, or more (food).
4) Uh-Oh - Started saying this in and out of context. Seems to be more in context recently
5) Mamama - Just sounds not in context. I try to encourage it, but it's almost like he's resisting. Meh.
6) Ow & Wow - Just sounds, not in context. He copied Mom once when she said "ow" when he accidentally pinched her
7) Cuh - Car. Kasey loves to watch the cars drive past the house
8) Signs "all done" or "all gone" - Our own made-up sign. Hands up in an 'i-dont-know' position, then twist the hands at the wrist
9) Signs "eat" - Hand to mouth motion.
10) coo-KEE - Cookie!
* Daddy stayed home busy cementing in fence posts around the front yard. w00t.
