Back from the doctor with a shiny new prescription for 30 days worth of Zoloft. Doc was awesome, like usual, and asked a lot of questions. One of the things I really like about her is that she addresses the questions to Goober. She treats HIM like the patient, instead of him as an extension of me. And after he answers, she comes to me for follow up

oh, good to hear. All I ever come across are the horror stories with any medication, so it's good to hear someone who had luck with it.

My husband had wonderful results with Zoloft. The stuff that he had problems with when he was young I think aren't in use as much any more. The current SSRIs are pretty good, but your doc is right to note that they're not tested in adolescents and results have been mixed.

I'm glad your doctor is treating Goober directly instead of going through you. That's awesome. You're both very lucky.

Oh, that's great! We are totally lucky to have her as our doctor. I just love her to bits. And the fact that she's a GP and I pretty much go to her for everything, it's just excellent.
