This is completely fantastic. <3 Everything is perfect -- their voices, Neal's bar, Book helping him, Neal having to choose between Peter and Kate again (and it not really being a choice, given the danger to Peter, but it still hurts, poor Neal!). All of it. Absolutely wonderfully done. <3

This is just beyond incredible! When I saw the crossover fandoms, I had doubts as to how you'd make it work, but I'm so glad I read it.

Shepherd Book did indeed die before he finished making amends, and I love that he's helping out lost souls while waiting for the rest of his crew to show up. I like Neal slowly realising that he's dead, but then having to make a painful choice. Their common ground and their differences, their sins and their atonement: it's all just so wonderfully right somehow!

By the way, I noticed just a few little typos: hateda, cater, far way.

This was just so incredibly and utterly awesome! <3

I loved the way you set this up, with Book and Neal both being their usual selves and simply connecting in a way that made it feel like they had always been part of the same universe - then, gradually, Neal's awareness of what the bar is, the way bits and pieces of his memory are coming back until, at last, he gets to make a choice and chooses life, pain and Peter.
