Thanks for the Small Fandoms friending!

That "confession" scene makes a lot more sense with your interpretation- my dog wanted out at the end of that scene, so I didn't get the on-screen payoff of WHY Guerrero decided to "confess" and didn't get the intuitive "Oh, it's a distraction!" on my own.

The Girl of the Week was great, but I once again had to spend the episode disassociating the Boy of the Week from a previous character- in this episode, "Colin, God of SEX!" from Love Actually. Before that we had Marshall from Alias with his goldfish, and one of the main characters from Fanboys in the monastery episode. I love the high quality of guest stars- David Nykl, Alessandro Juliani, Tricia Helfer, etc, but it gets weird when most of the television I enjoy is filming in the same parts of British Columbia and using the same actors.

The net escape was beautiful. I'd love to see the storyboards for it.

I just can't imagine Guerrero feeling bad enough about anything he's done to make a genuine confession, especially not to Winston of all people. I could almost see him saying something about the shenanigans he got up to with Chance's file while the other two were at the monastery, but that only makes sense if he thought Winston wasn't about to die, too.

Although obviously the situation changes if you watch it with your slash goggles on. I don't know how many people ship Winston/Guerrero, but I'm betting that scene killed at least one of them.:)
