You should consider posting this to icemanroguepyro and dry_ice.

I was surprised to learn that this was your first foray in the XMMFF realm because you captured the essence of the trio's personalities so well. While John and Bobby faithful to their respective leaders may seem a no brainer (since the movies basically set them up that way), your treatment was balanced and eloquent. John's loyalty to Magneto was especially touching, because that was the one thing that was keeping him going. When they find the body, the description of him and what was left of the X-Men was powerful and John's reaction was very much in character.

The pace you set for developing the characters was great, especially the "truth or dare" scene. The simple The next night they play again, and this time John and Bobby do more than kiss. Marie watches then, too. contains so much in it, how far they have developed, the boundaries they set up and breakdown as they adapt ( ... )

Thank you so much for such a wonderful review! I had to rewrite the truth or dare scene approximately seventy thousand times, so it's good to hear that it worked.:)

I'm very glad you liked how the Rogue/Logan relationship worked out, because it was such a balancing act. It would just be bad characterization for Rogue not to be thinking about him (and kind of lazy to just kill him off, because really, if anyone's making it out of the Apocalypse alive, it's him), but at the same time she had to grow into this new relationship apart from him.

Thanks for the suggestions, BTW. I don't know my way around the XMM fandom very well, and I knew there had to be some shipping comms I didn't know about. I'll make sure to check them out.

Interesting. I don't go for threesomes or slash at all, so I don't know why I read this, but I did like the Apocalypse thing and how the three of them ended up together . . . :)

Thanks! I've got a backlog of Heroes/Doctor Who unfinished fic to work through, but I wouldn't mind revisiting XMM. I like these kids.:)

Oh oh oh oh this was exactly what I was looking for tonight. This is my favourite X-Men pairing (threesome, rather) and you wrote it perfectly. The dynamic in their relationship is spot-on; John is a bastard but still loves the people who love him, Marie is brilliant and sweet but by no means a pushover, and Bobby is just so adorably clueless and he loves them both and good God this is exactly how I pictured their relationship -- brutal and vengeful but so amazingly tight that even the apocalypse couldn't tear them apart ( ... )

I've been having a horrible day; you have no idea how much I needed to read this.:) Thank you so, so much for such a long and detailed and awesome response. It's made my day.

Oh....wow. Okay. I was a little O.o during the sex part, but all in all, I liked it. It's never struck me that Pyro and Bobby would have that kind of relationship, which is probably why.

Hmm...you should continue. I'd like to find out what happens :D.

Thank you! I'm glad that you liked the story even though it's not your pairing; that tells me everything hung together well as a whole.

you should continue. I'd like to find out what happens

Maybe for the next Apocalyptothon.:)
