I think L might've known that B was planning something to help him out, but not something as extreme as framing Misa and Light of murder.

What I like about the Death Note series is that they never tell you who's justice was the true justice, and left the fans to decide. Of course, Misa's a bit of a conspiracy theorist. xD

I don't think L had anything to do with it. I believe Beyond is just fucking nuts.

I am a bit fond of Beyond though, for the one fact that he looks like L.
