Right now, it's raining. I can hear the thunder. Some of the windows I had to close because of the rain getting in, but not all. It's calming to me.
I don't know why, but I thought of the time when I got waffles for breakfast once, and, not wearing my glasses, poured teriyaki sauce on them instead of maple syrup. It didn't taste good at all.

And when my sister was here a couple weeks ago, we went to a basketball court to play basket ball. And then it rained.
It was gorgeous. :3 The whole court was flooded with grey-silver rain, and it was thundering dark outin the sky, and my brothers and sister and I just tossed our balls around and attempted to pretend we were just that good. >3 I got my sneakers wet in the mud chasing the ball. and my hair stuck down my face and fogged up my specs, and it was just fun. We did walk back after the rain stopped though - we'd taken shelter in the void-deck of a nearby apartment block. :3

When I lived in the hostel (>.> I lived in many places...) in NZ, the way the place was built was terrible bad for rain - and in Auckland, at the very least, the rain can come suddenly and hard, for the whole day if it feels like it, even - and there was one time, my roommate's window was open in the rain, and the rain FLOODED in. Just like that. It wet her bed, her floor, and killed my computer. T___T
I was devastated and we were SO very PISSED at the hostel, because they should have fucking cleared out the gutters, dammit. It was a sheer WATERFALL into her side of the room if we left the window open. Just... yeah. but my computer revived, and we can look back at it and laugh.
