A Fresh Start
Tomorrow I get a new start. My final day at the USPS was Friday. Tomorrow I start a new job that could lead into a career. I will be working as a mail-room clerk at Barron's. They are a major publishing house that does mainly college prep and college manuals as well as children's and adolescent titles. I will be making about what I was making ( Read more... ) -
It is FINALLY Spring!!!
The frozen North has finally thawed. All the trees, grass, and flowers are awake and doing their thing. One day it was cold and the next it is an explosion of color. I missed the color. Just when you think I am gone I pop up!
Life is always so damned busy up here. We are not the unusual ones in this either. People are just busy up here period. Life is calming down back to a normal routine, however. The mail has lessened. My contract with the USPS has been extended till June (or the mail completely falls off). I have my resume out there. I have gotten plenty of ( Read more... ) -
Boy Am I Tired!!!
I finally have a day off that I don't have anything to do. I slept till noon. It is a sweet indulgence I don't enjoy that often anymore. The heavy season has hit the CFS unit where I work. I am working 12 hour days 5 days a week and then an 8 or 10 hour day on the sixth. I am making good money, but I am so damned tired. It will be another ( Read more... )
