Education doesn't have to mean school -- there are plenty of trade jobs out there. My boyfriend is making over $20 an hour as an apprentice, and they get doubletime anytime it drizzles, or they go over 8 hours a day.

As for the legalizing pot thing, my only issue with pot is that I'm allergic. I get enough migraines working at a convenience store, and this is while it's illegal. I honestly am terrified that I wouldn't be able to leave the house if it was ever fully legalized. I do agree that it's safer then cigarettes though, and I'm all in favor of people being allowed to do in the privacy of their own home whatever they want to (within reason).

Yes I definitely agree with the education I perhaps didn't write that accurately I still consider trade/vocation education I suppose. I believe that education/training should be available to citizens in our society around here even getting your welding, automotive or electrical training can be expensive. Your boyfriend is a lineman right? I think that's what I remember you mentioning? My memory is terrible. I know we can't hire them over here. Our PUD has had openings for years.

Yes, a lineman. And where's "over there"? And what's PUD?

We're on the West coast, well I mean I live in Washington. The PUD is the public utility district. Most of the counties in Washington have their own PUDs. Most of them use dams but lately we've been getting a lot of windmills installed, kind of surreal to see whole hills of them.

Washington always needs electricians too I guess. Most of the ones that came up here to finish the Microsoft center came from Texas.
