Believe me, there is nothing wrong with not wanting to go to college. It's most definitely not for everyone (and I think it's a shame that we have a cultural expectation that everyone should go to college, to say nothing of the fact that most employers expect that, but that's a rant for a whole 'nother time). At the end of the day, you're the person who makes the ultimate decision over what choices will most likely yield the best results in your life. You can't let someone else second-guess you, or say "No, no, this is what you really want."

Right now I am also, in the eyes of the government, a single mother. My tuition at SCC this quarter was 675, books were 200 and I'm eligible for a $1,000 grant. And an $800 subsidized loan.
