Little Adrian has hit the four-month mark! Actually, he did that on Monday. He's now 25.5" long (in the 75th percentile), just under 14 pounds (25th percentile--last time, he was in the 50th!) and his head is 16.25" around (also 25th percentile--up from tenth last time ( Read more... )

Just got back from the doctor's office. They did all the standard stuff (my blood pressure, my weight(which is now 147... *makes face*), urinalysis, uterine measurement, baby's heartrate, plus a Strep B culture, a cervical check, and I was sent to the lab to get a blood count done ( Read more... )

Looks like I get to take the childbirth class after all! I got my official confirmation today. Woot. ...of course, my mom is convinced that I'm going to (or else should) go into labor during the second half of the class on the 14th, so I'll be right close by the hospital and everything will be all fresh in my head and I can come home on Monday ( Read more... )

Hmm. I think every expectant mother at some point goes through a phase (usually in trimester #3, when her pre-mommy body is all but unrecognizable) where she just needs to feel pretty, damn it! ...and I think I may be reaching that phase. ^_^;;
