One thing I know about myself and my illness is that the slightest hint of pressure, whether self-imposed or from outside, makes my foggy-at-the-best-of-times brain completely seize up and my body pretend it doesn't know me. I've just been up in the woods above my house, collecting greenery, it being the winter solstice and all. I had an adventure, collected holly while a red kite circled and cried overhead, slipped down a muddy bank and got the giggles as I sat in the mud and came home triumphant!
