All kids (ok, most) are like this. Both of mine are. And it's so, so hard not to smack them. I'll admit that I've given in to the impulse when really provoked, though I'm not proud of it and do try to find ways to cope and stay calm. Sometimes the best thing to do is walk away, for both of you - you get to calm down, and she realizes that her behavior is unacceptable and you're not willing to put up with it. I find this effective with Gavriel - he doesn't feel abandoned, but rather gets that I'm not giving in and he just has to stop.

If you want to get together any time (during Daniel's miluim or not), I'd honestly love to.
