I watched Kaibutsu-kun in keyhole and even with that crappy quality, I couldn't help but loving it! The CG are smooth, the story is kind of cute and Ohno's faces are priceless! ^^b
I though Ohno and Aiba's stories were the most touching ones. And Ohno guessed his present right (I swear Oh-chan seems to have seer's powers sometimes)! The Nino's video in the Berlinale was pretty funny, too. And his apologetic smile was really cute!
Thanks for sharing this!

I caught both shows on keyhole. Though I do not understand Japanese, I really liked Kaibutsu-kun. Both adults and children would get something out of it, and it was funny and tear-jerking at the same time. Ohno is a really good actor! So expressive! And the boy who plays Hiroshi is also great, aside from being cute.

I like how Ohno was able to guess what gift he was about to receive. Was the uchiwa personalized? It seemed like an artwork too. So expensive.

Thanks for translating!

Yup, I think it's personalized. At least due to the fact that "Arashi's Ohno" was written on it (in calligraphy).
