Kaibutsu-kun episode 1
"Humans lie in order to protect something"
He stretches, he blows fire, he changes, he's selfish and he's the prince of the Monster Land. On the day of the coronation of Kaibutsu Tarou as the new king, his father announced that such day is his (Tarou's) departure. Kaibutsu-kun, together with his minions - Dracula, Franken and Ookami- opened their eyes to the world of humans. While being in the human world, Kaibutsu-kun cannot use his powers. Although, he then discovered that he can if it's for the sake of helping someone. There, he met a human boy, Hiroshi, a shy kid who can't make any friends.
"YOU SAW IT?"
Thoughts of the drama:
An entertaining drama xD KH quality is bad as always, but I can see that the CG effects are neatly done. It's just like watching anime, and I found Ohno's acting adorable this time. His character quickly gets mad (I remember Kenta in Uta no Onii-san was like that too) and pretty much selfish as he always wants his whims to be followed. Though he's selfish, Kaibutsu-kun is pretty much a kid for being oblivious about the meaning of 'lies' and 'thank you'. He was raised without a mother (?) and thus grew up as a spoiled prince, without knowing much about values. Well, this drama can somewhat teach you lessons as well. Indeed, this drama is easy to watch, both by kids and adults.

ARASHI LEGEND
SAKURAI SHO LEGEND
Arashi's excellent student. Sakurai Sho promised to do both the works of being an idol and a student diligently. Indeed, he succeeded as he graduated in college and proved that an idol can receive education at the same time. By 2006, he started doing NEWS ZERO, a first time for an idol to be do a news casting job.
But there's one wall that he collided on to: RAP. He knew back then that there's something lacking in his rap -his singing style, his voice, his movements didn't show what/who he is. Then he got those inspirational words from m-flo VERBAL-san. Since then, he started writing the Arashi rap himself and is able to express more of himself.
NINOMIYA KAZUNARI LEGEND
Nino, as we all know, has no motivation from the start. He even wanted to quit Johnny's and go to America.
And yeah, it seems Johnny-san smelled that plan and thwarted it by sending him to Hawaii xD
Even with his success in Iwo Jima, Nino didn't forget that he's an idol first before an actor - that at the end of the day, the place that he'll always return to is Arashi. *sniffs*
And of course, they mentioned that little story before Nino's departure to America. They had a yakiniku meal with him, cheering him to do his best. And Ohno, as the Leader, gave him money: Since Nino would be gone for two months, he gave him 5000 yen xD
AIBA MASAKI LEGEND
Aiba's story is also inspiring. Back then, when he was starting in Shimura Doubutsuen, he couldn't really talk properly (eg have a smooth conversation), that's why he got reprimanded by the director. But the words from Shimura Ken-san remained in his heart and motivated him to do his best. He's (Aiba) the one who initiated the idea of letting him do on-location filming.
MATSUMOTO JUN LEGEND
The stoic one. He has this personality of pressuring himself. He's the one organizes and keeps giving ideas in their concerts. (and lol, they showed that VTR wherein he told Aiba to remove his coat *Time concert* xD) Michael Jackson gave him the idea of the so-called 'MJ walk'. But basically, Matsujun had always been thinking of ways to really get the attention of the audience during concerts.
Those include the moving stage and hanging themselves meters above the ground. Well, Sho is the unhappiest being when they were doing that (hanging) in their concerts xD
OHNO SATOSHI LEGEND
This story is probably the one which made me tear up a little. Like how Ohno tells in countless interviews, he knew that he was not popular in Tokyo back then, and he noticed it by basing from the uchiwas that were being held by the audience. They showed a VTR of that, indeed, Ohno-uchiwas were barely seen from the audience. That time, he worried about such thing. But one person who cheered him up despite all that is his mother who always waits for him to come home no matter how late it is.
I think it's such a heartwarming story. His mother had been always there for him, and I think that somehow saved Ohno from his worries, and urges him to do his best more.
Present for him: Uchiwa ^__^ and pretty expensive @_@

"MONSTER" Performance
Cool performance like always. Every time I hear this song, I'm thinking of a Halloween love story xD
