Catching up on old animated films

First. The Iron Giant is going there on my list of Top 5 Animated movies of all time. There is no doubt about that. The ending brought a single manly tear to my eye (actually I was crying my eyes out but let's not go there).

Titan A.E. was a disappointment. There were about a million recycled scifi plots just pushed together. The

EL DORADO WAS MY BEST FRIEND.
THAT MOVIE MADE ME EXPLODE IN SO MANY WAYS OH GOD. Seriously, look at EVERYTHING. The animation quality, the backgrounds, the character development, the research (with hints of LACK of research), it just. Unh.

So The Iron Giant is one of the best films ever made ever animated or live action. Because it's so good. And amazing. And good. It's a shame it didn't get a lot of publicity.

And The Road to El Dorado for me was underwhelming when I first saw it. Then I saw it again. And again. And it keeps getting better every time.
