Got home this afternoon. I feel a bit... odd. Watching the filming of "Merlin" at Pierrefonds kinda puts you in a bubble out of time and space. For a few days, you forget about your little problems and it's really, really relaxing. And terribly addictive: I was supposed to leave on Friday morning but decided to stay one more day at the last moment.

I leave for Compiègne in 2 hours to spend Wednesday and Thursday haunting Pierrefonds.
I selfishly hope that there will be some filming outside when I'm there, for obvious reasons. That and the fact that I absolutely want to see the huge room (the "Salle des Preuses") they use as the throne room and if they are filming there or anywhere near there, ( Read more... )
