“Jen, did you want…” Eliza froze, bursting into a grin as she neared her beach towel.
Jensen was fast asleep, his sunglasses resting lopsidedly, covering one eye as he used her purse as a pillow.
She bit her lip, hesitating before slowly reaching out to trace the freckles that dusted his shoulder blades.
He stirred, stretching lazily. “Mmm…how long was I out for?”
“Not long. It’s not good to fall asleep in the sun, you know. You’ll burn.”
He grinned, kissing her cheek. “Don‘t worry about me. I’m just waiting for all my freckles to combine to make me tan.”
