How About " No "?

I love Amazon. I really do. But  I still was less than thrilled to see THIS little lovely in my inbox this morning. It sounds weird to say after years of adoration, but I'm not even a little interested or curious about this movie. Not even in an "angry about the finale" sort of way either, because I'm not any longer. I just honestly don't care.  I  ( Read more... )

See, I'm not super looking forward to it, but my friends are so I will definitely be seeing it.

Oh, I'm sure I would too then, but none of my friends watch BSG or even would know what I was talking about =/

I can't put my finger on it but I just feel really "meh" about these movies they have planned. I think because it feels like so much retcon??? I honestly have no idea what my problem is since it's definitely not the finale. And I adore Tricia Helfer and most of the cast (I'm not really clear on who all is in this thing.) But yeah, do not want. I hope it's awesome for you and your friends' sake though!

Aw, you make me feel guilty for my apathy! *is ashamed* I'm sorry to sound so "over it" but on some level I think I must be because my utter lack of curiosity about this thing is definitely a new development.

I doubt I'll ever stop thinking Kara and Lee were awesome/fascinating though. Love them always.

Well, at least I'm not alone :) I was surprised when I saw it in my inbox and my first reaction was "whatever". Like I said above, I'm sure I'll always love and appreciate K/L but all this new BSG stuff feels kind of like squeezing every last drop of life out of a dying thing. I don't resent them for it...I just feel...detached I guess, you know?

Especially when it's all about the cylons *yawn*

I think I only was interested in the cylons in relation to the humans. For instance: their attacks vs. humanity's survival, or some of the Athena/Helo/Everyone interaction, or Boomer/Chief/Everyone interaction, or some of the CapticaSix/Baltar stuff... Once you get into all the "plan" stuff and "final five" and "destiny this" and "robots that", I just lose interest. Cylons in and of themselves for me were boring without the human conflict to bounce off of.

I'm with you on the not caring about The Cylon Show. Just not doing it for me.

I'm certainly not looking forward to seeing it, but I guess I'll end up watching it anyway. Though I doubt I'll get the DVD. Now if it were about other characters... I would have already ordered it. :)

I'm all for worthless, rambly posts. That's all I do, hehe. Keep them coming. ;)

That's exactly how I thought I would be but now I know I'm not even going to tune in. I couldn't care any less.

Aw, thank you, hon! You're posts are never worthless though. I guess I just don't do it a lot and always fear I'm making people on my flist annoyed that they have to scroll down my nonsense.

Don't worry about that, you're not making anyone annoyed. I like reading about what's going on in my friend's lives. ;)
