How About " No "?

I love Amazon. I really do. But  I still was less than thrilled to see THIS little lovely in my inbox this morning. It sounds weird to say after years of adoration, but I'm not even a little interested or curious about this movie. Not even in an "angry about the finale" sort of way either, because I'm not any longer. I just honestly don't care.  I  ( Read more... )

Your layout SHOULD BE MINE. No wait, I take that back, I love my layout! But yours is equally as pretty.

BSG The Plan?? What are they trying to shnooker us with now? Is this a "before the Cylons attacked" thing?

I second this vote of FTW. If my layout should be yours, then that icon SHOULD BE MINE.

OMG Look at your Joey/Pacey banner! HA! I so wish I'd known about LJ back in my DC-loving days. (PACEY REMEMBERS EVERYTHING!)

I have a fun fic to rec later today in my Frakking Friday post that I think you'll like actually! ;)

Yeah I have zero interest in the plan. And am actually afraid they're going to retcon more stuff that will make me ragey.

Hee, I know I can't help it! I've been re-watching the Dawson's Creek DVD's and I'm all nostalgic about them. They were one of my first OTP's. Pacey DOES remember everything!! (Oh, that scene...I LOVE that boy. His charm holds up nearly a decade later.)

Yay, for Frakking Friday!

I know what you mean. I think it will be darn near impossible *not* to retcon considering the movie's premise and how convoluted the entire series story arc ended up being.

It cracks me up that the bottom of the ad mentions how excited EOJ is about "The Plan". I'm glad someone is.

I wrote some crazy long-ass melodramatic P/J fic back in the day (like my first fanfic ever was 60,000 words about them. Oh kids.) And then I had another story I started That threatened to be equally long (and cheesey!) where Joey decided to get a job stripping to compete with Eve for Dawson and she was all Goth!Joey and poor Pacey got cheated on and dumped by Andie. Oh good times. (HOW do i not have a Pacey or P/J icon? For shame.)

I love frakking friday I admit. I want other people to pick days. We can have Frakking Monday and Tuesday and...

Ugh. I do. not. want. more about Sammy's perfection and how Kara was mystically drawn to him or some such crap. EOJ is ridiculously excited, and I hope it doesn't sell the half a million copies they need to do any more (because I know Katee and Jamie ain't coming back for them.)

60,00 words? Yowza! And yet, I can't help but be impressed. That takes a lot of creativity, melodramatic or no ( ... )

I think it just means you've moved on. And that's a good thing.

I am not interested anymore either. Not even in the "I am not giving any more of my money to these people" way.

I'm definitely moving on. I guess it just surprised me because with other fandoms, I would be pleased to revisit the universe but here...nah, no thanks.

And I hear you , I definitely don't mean it in a "not getting me money" embittered way either. I just don't care about their new nonsense. I'd actually like it to go away and leave me alone, you know? Amazon is awesome though, so I forgive them :)

Gods, I so have no interest in The Plan. I can only imagine the kind of crazy they're going to come up with and call it art. Also cylons...meh.

Yeah, I considered myself a die-hard fan but turns out not so much. It might be interesting to see if we're not alone in our complete disinterest. I guess we'll know when the DVD comes out. It's kind of funny to think about EOJ having to buy all 500,000 copies himself and giving everyone he knows a copy for Christmas for the next 20 years, though.

I don't care about watching it either. And, terrible as it sounds, I wouldn't be interested even if I still cared because I have a feeling it's going to be just fucking awful. Nothing after S3, artistically speaking, is worth the effort. Bad acting, deformed storylines... yeah. Might as well catch two hours of CBS sitcom reruns to get the same nutritional entertainment value, so to speak.

CBS sitcom reruns? LOL. That? That's BAD. But I have to agree, it doesn't sound good, no matter what EOJ thinks.
