I think that one of the greatest insults to Sirius in the films is that terrible hair, when in canon it was effortlessly wonderful. :D

It is tricky! Now that Harry's been time-turned out of existence, there's no series of books for this to be the last of, which is probably why JKR had to turn to slash. :D
