So far, the story is up to 60 thousand words in less than a month. Oh, and I also managed to crochet a hat and half a baby blanket. >:D

I'm having so much fun with the fic - well, except for the graphic child prostitution scenes, because those things were damn hard to write

It's true that if Danzo was good looking he'd definitely get more fandom love... However, i don't think he's hard to understand. I just think that he's extremely unlikeable (and his old man mug -- with multi-eye syndrome -- doesn't really help his image much, literally).

Danzo was a character who did all the wrong things for the right reasons. And I think, canon-speaking, he is supposed to be unlikeable, because he messed up the Uchiha clan. (Kishimoto does love his Uchihas.) And it's because he messed up the Uchiha clan that I like him. >:D

(I adore the fact that he and the Third Hokage were boyhood friends! I want more boyhood stories of first Four Hokages, and also I want stories on how the First and the Second pass on their drinking and gambling habits to the Fifth Hokage! I also cannot be unconvinced that the reason the Second created the Edo Tensai was because he was just vindictive enough to bring back his enemies so he could kill them all over again. THIS IS MY NEW HEAD CANON.)
