Also, I love the Winchester version of father-son bonding. And the fact that they can't go on a camping trip without running into mind-altering flora. And the timed immersions. I heart Alec's problem solving skills!

Being a sadistic wench, I think it's cool that the rest of the Winchester clan are so worried about their missing member. Alec trying to stay awake and listening for the car, Sam apparently calm but walking briskly: you can almost sense how "off" the family dynamics are without Dean. And see! I knew those blue flowers are bad news. Bad, bad, bad!

Hmmm....I wonder what effect it's had on all those other folk and what Sam and Alec will find in their search.....
