Back from L.A.
Oh boy, I can't tell you how much fun I had at Creation's Firefly/Serenity Salute. Met some great Browncoats (gee, Canada is so well represented it's scary) and the wonderful actors who attended were -- well, wonderful. Got to tell Alan Tudyk how excited I was to see him in Edmonton, summer of 2008 at the Fringe. He enjoyed his attempt at improv

Just so you know, the "Farewell to Farscape" con that was on earlier this month, actually isn't a farewell. Creation is having another one next November at the same hotel (and the ballroom floor in the hotel is huge - enough for three cons at once, which they are doing). Gold memberships purchased for any of the three - Farscape, Stargate and Firefly - include participation in the others, per space available. The lady I came with is going next year and she's offered me space in her hotel room. So if you can swing it next year and need a room-mate, you are welcome to join us. The con info isn't available on the Creation web site yet; it was on a flyer we received.
