Back from L.A.

Oh boy, I can't tell you how much fun I had at Creation's Firefly/Serenity Salute. Met some great Browncoats (gee, Canada is so well represented it's scary) and the wonderful actors who attended were -- well, wonderful. Got to tell Alan Tudyk how excited I was to see him in Edmonton, summer of 2008 at the Fringe. He enjoyed his attempt at improv with one of the world's best improv companies (Edmonton's Die Nasty) and I ended up the proud recipient of the prop t-shirt he wore on Die Nasty stage.

After telling myself I have lots of bags and t-shirts, don't need any more bags or t-shirts, what did I end up buying? A new Browncoat bag and 2 t-shirts. It wasn't my fault: the t-shirt table was strategically located right by the dealers' room door. I snuck a peek at a Star Trek Spock T and what the heck, who can say "No" to Spock? Also got a Can't Stop the Serenity T (on sale) at the Austin Browncoats booth. Then the lady I shared the hotel room with (current organizer of the Edmonton CSTS) gave me an Alberta Browncoats shirt and the one from Alan makes four.

Time to clean out my drawers for real.
